  <title>Disruption to Emails Sent to Agents</title>
  <description>
    Type: Incident

    Affected Components: Emails
    Aug 18, 00:07:00 GMT+0 - Monitoring - All email sending has been moved back to the original domain and is working normally. The courtesy copy email to agent for alerts with the setting &quot;Send copy to myself&quot; has been turned back on.

We will keep monitoring and will mark this resolved unless we see any further issues. Thank you for your patience. Aug 17, 16:28:38 GMT+0 - Monitoring - Microsoft has delisted our sending domain and the bounced emails have stopped. The issue appears to be resolved.

We have begun resuming sending on the original domain and will move email volume back over in stages throughout the day. We will also turn the courtesy copy email to agent back on for alerts with the setting &quot;Send copy to myself&quot; as we go. Until that is finished, you can continue to view your dashboard live feed to see emails sent to your clients.

We will post another update toward the end of the day. Aug 15, 17:28:41 GMT+0 - Identified - We have detected an increase in bounced emails sent to agent email addresses hosted by Microsoft (Outlook, Office 365, or a custom domain running on Microsoft 365). Emails to your clients are not impacted and we have rerouted most agent emails through a different sending domain to fix the issue.

In order to manage the email volume as we reroute traffic, we have temporarily paused the courtesy copy email to agent for alerts with the setting &quot;Send copy to myself&quot; (the client email will be sent as normal). In the meantime, please view your dashboard live feed to see any emails sent to your clients.

We are engaging with our email providers and with Microsoft to further remediate the issue and apologize for any inconvenience.

  <title>Disruption to Automated Email Alerts and Data Syncs</title>
  <description>
    Type: Incident
    Duration: 16 hours and 31 minutes

    Affected Components: Emails
    Jun 11, 03:01:02 GMT+0 - Resolved - This incident has been resolved. Jun 10, 10:30:00 GMT+0 - Identified - We’re currently experiencing a delay in background processes due to an ongoing Heroku (Salesforce) platform outage. This is affecting the delivery of automated alerts, including:

* Listing Alerts
* Market Activity Alerts
* Home Value Alerts
* Agent Daily Digest Emails

This is also affecting some background jobs involved with syncing data from external services, like Follow Up Boss.

We are actively monitoring the situation and will resume all tasks once Heroku services are stable. No data has been lost, and all delayed tasks will be processed as soon as we’re able to reconnect.

You can track Heroku’s incident updates:

https://status.heroku.com

&lt;https://status.salesforce.com/generalmessages/10001540&gt;

We’ll provide another update as soon as we have more information.

Thank you for your patience.

  <title>Email Delivery</title>
  <description>
    Type: Incident
    Duration: 1 day, 16 hours and 33 minutes

    Affected Components: Emails
    Jan 29, 16:32:52 GMT+0 - Resolved - This incident has been resolved. Jan 7, 20:15:23 GMT+0 - Identified - We’re happy to inform you that our team has initiated the process of resuming email deliveries for Home Value Alerts and Market Activity Alerts that have been paused. We continue to monitor the deliverability and stability of email during the ramp-up phase.

Additionally, we have sunset alerts for users who reported spam. This extra step ensures that no emails are accidentally resent to those who marked them as spam, helping us maintain trust and deliver communications only to those who wish to receive them.

Our [Auto Nurture drip campaign](https://support.realscout.com/hc/en-us/articles/18402768339995-Auto-Nurture-Email-Drip-Campaigns-Overview) remains paused while we focus on restoring Home Value Alert and Market Activity Alert emails. Jan 5, 20:20:41 GMT+0 - Identified - Our team has confirmed that we have resolved one the issues which was the cause of the warning banners in Gmail clients and they should no longer appear in new emails. We continue to monitor performance and are working to resume paused email deliveries while ensuring continued system performance. Dec 28, 00:00:00 GMT+0 - Identified - ## **Email Delivery Update**

**Updated: Jan 3, 2025**

Recently, our email service provider falsely flagged our account, resulting in Gmail displaying warning banners on some of our emails. In order to preserve our high email deliverability, we paused delivery of certain emails while we investigated. The provider has since acknowledged this flagging as a “false positive.”

We are pleased to share that we believe the vast majority of client-facing emails are no longer affected. Here’s what we’ve done so far:

### **Mitigated**

* **Gmail Warning Banner:** Most new emails should now be free of this warning. However, due to varying refresh windows of different IT software, the fix may take a bit longer to fully propagate. If you or your contacts continue to see the warning banner, you can safely mark these emails as “Not Spam.”
* **Listing-Related Alerts:** We’re pleased to share that listing-related alerts have resumed, including new listings, “Homes You Missed,” and “Open House” updates, with only a few exceptions, noted below.

### **Still Impacted**

The automatic _creation_ of Market Alerts and Home Value Alerts via Auto Nurture remains fully operational. In order to maintain the long-term reliability of our email services, however, these generated alerts are not currently being emailed to contacts.

Related, we have temporarily paused the automated delivery of[ Auto Nurture drip campaign emails](https://support.realscout.com/hc/en-us/articles/18402768339995-Auto-Nurture-Email-Drip-Campaigns-Overview), Home Value Alert emails, and Market Activity Alert emails.

You can still trigger manual, one-off emails for Home Value Alerts and Market Activity Alerts.

### **Ongoing Efforts**

The RealScout team is collaborating closely with our email service provider and Google to prevent future false positives and ensure the consistent, reliable delivery of emails moving forward.

Our engineering team is actively working to restore all email deliveries as quickly as possible.

**Updated: Jan 3, 2025**

We have received reports that a small number of users are unable to access our service. Our team has been investigating these reports, and it appears that a false positive signal from an automated system incorrectly flagged the RealScout domain. **Ongoing Troubleshooting with ISPs**

If you’re having difficulty accessing your account through our website or experiencing issues while using the mobile app, we recommend trying mobile data or a hotspot to connect to our services. Should this resolve the issue, we encourage you to contact your ISP and request the removal of the RealScout domain from their block list.

**How We Can Help**

To assist further, please email us at [support@realscout.com](mailto:support@realscout.com) with the name of your ISP. This will enable our team to engage with them directly and work toward resolving any remaining access issues.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue working diligently to ensure uninterrupted access for all users. Our support team is available to you during this time, and we’ll continue to post updates here.
